just because i'm losing, doesn't mean i'm lost

yayyy

school is pretty much over. i took my last final today, which wasn't fun but now i am all done! and tomorrow school is only two hours long, and i guess its a pancake breakfast which should be interesting. im excited for summer, and this saturday im leaving with my family for the san juans, which will be amazing, its one of my favorite places ever. im going to miss my friends alot this summer, and everybody i met this year. but i will see everybody again next fall. so i hope to see people over the summer, because i will be sad if i don't.

the week is over. now i just have to worry like crazy about finals. science, spanish, math...ugh. i don't remember half the stuff we did in math, i hate logorithms by the way.

but i do like signing yearbooks. i didnt actually buy a yearbook this year ($60!) but i have paper and markers so its all good.

tonight is the AFA (amani for africa) concert. it should be fun. the bracelets in my hand we will sell tonight. and the other bracelets are just random ones on my arm. hahah. they are fun to make.

yesterday i had to go to graduation for this years seniors. i am in the band so we had to play pomp and circumstance (blahhh). but the bus ride was good, except it was terribly hot. i did get to sit next to my friend kelsey, while the back of the bus decided to sing (bohemian rhapsody, and others). and kelsey asked me, and i think this is a most difficult question, what my two favorite bands are and my favorite artist. i still don't know the answer to her question, because there is so much music that i like.

origami is fun. most people who know me know that i make little cranes all the time. out of gum wrappers even. but i didnt make the flowers in the picture. they were a birthday present from one of my friends (nathan) and so yesterday i decided to put them on a string, and i like them better now.
today is june! that means that school is close to being over, and the beginning of summer. and it was really hot today, so of course i wore pants and not shorts. but i really wanted to wear my pants today, because they are purple.
tomorrow i have a big vocab test. actually i should call it giant because that is what my teacher calls it. anyways, here are some of my favorite words

if you know those, then wow that's awesome. i just hope that i know all the ones on the test tomorrow!

my friend (sara) said that i should write about the 'high speed car chase' that we saw. it was very intense this cop car went by and it had its siren going, and its lights were flashing, and it was following this car up the hill.......okay sorry to disapoint but it was not actually a car chase, the car just took forever to pull over, although it would have been pretty cool to see a 'high speed car chase'

as of right now, there are sixteen days left of school. im rather excited, summer is my favorite time if the year. and i have also found that the nice weather can be quite disracting. i would much rather lay (lie?) out in the sun, than do math homework. and the last month of school, the assignments slow down a little, well except there are finals (yay) i always find the last week or so of school to be pretty enjoyable, because you dont really do anything in class, and its warm out. i will miss my friends so much over the summer. it always seems like they get to go on awesome vacations, while i stay at home (you better send me postcards!) but this year i am going to camp for a week with my friend, so that should be fun. summers going to be great, because my friend (michelle) can drive me places! we are going to go to fat smittys.

this weekend has been nice. well its been four days and its been warm and sunny. but i have to go to school tomorrow. which means i have to finish my homework, not that i have alot to do, but still.

okay and do you see the picture at the top? yes? okay so someone dropped a chip, and there were all these ants on it. we were like oh wow thats exciting, but then we came back later the chip had moved! it was also exciting because just recently i found the macro mode (take pictures up close mode) on my camera, and so i got to use it.

right now i have lucy in the sky with diamonds stuck in my head. its starting to get annoying. we are playing this beatles piece in band, but i dont like the arrangement at all really. or maybe its just my part.

i havent posted in a while, but that is because the computer keeps going slow and messing stuff up, so sorry 'bout that.

today i went for a run around my neighborhood. i dont really go for runs very often, even though i should. but the end of this week is when soccer tryouts are, and im getting nervous. hence the need to go for a run. oh and when i was out running, i saw a black tulip. pretty cool, yes? no picture though sadly. maybe i will go back later.

have you seen the movie gattaca? we had to watch it in science (all you emery people know) its a really interesting movie. jude law is in it, haha. anyways i wouldnt say go out to blockbuster and get it, but i just think its interesting. they discriminate people on their makeup and their genes. enough about that.

do you know the feeling of being a leaf? okay not actually a leaf, but you kind of feel like you will be blown away, when the wind is really strong. thats a funny feeling

okay and english we have to read the book Lord of the Flies. i dont like it at all, i hate it actually. its such a weird book. rather disturbing.
