my friend (sara) said that i should write about the 'high speed car chase' that we saw. it was very intense this cop car went by and it had its siren going, and its lights were flashing, and it was following this car up the hill.......okay sorry to disapoint but it was not actually a car chase, the car just took forever to pull over, although it would have been pretty cool to see a 'high speed car chase'

as of right now, there are sixteen days left of school. im rather excited, summer is my favorite time if the year. and i have also found that the nice weather can be quite disracting. i would much rather lay (lie?) out in the sun, than do math homework. and the last month of school, the assignments slow down a little, well except there are finals (yay) i always find the last week or so of school to be pretty enjoyable, because you dont really do anything in class, and its warm out. i will miss my friends so much over the summer. it always seems like they get to go on awesome vacations, while i stay at home (you better send me postcards!) but this year i am going to camp for a week with my friend, so that should be fun. summers going to be great, because my friend (michelle) can drive me places! we are going to go to fat smittys.

this weekend has been nice. well its been four days and its been warm and sunny. but i have to go to school tomorrow. which means i have to finish my homework, not that i have alot to do, but still.

okay and do you see the picture at the top? yes? okay so someone dropped a chip, and there were all these ants on it. we were like oh wow thats exciting, but then we came back later the chip had moved! it was also exciting because just recently i found the macro mode (take pictures up close mode) on my camera, and so i got to use it.

okay i finally figured out how to get my pictures on the computer again! but i still have no idea how to get to my old ones. but thats okay, i have been taking a ton of pictures lately, and its sunny and warm! im getting pretty exctited for summer.

oh so the other day i went to this place on bainbridge island that is called bloedel (blodel, bloedol?) gardens. it was pretty cool, but mainly it just totally reminded me of pride and prejudice. there was a big field you know like where they go for walks, and the house had this big pond in front of it, you know like the one darcy swims in? doesnt it totally look like it? also on bainbridge island me and my brother got to go to this park that we used to go to when we were little. it has the best slide, hahah.

there's something in the distance, a glorious existance

today i am feeling somewhat lucky. for what i have. we are watching this movie in history called sometime in april. it is about the genocide in rwanda. it is so painful for me to watch, and makes me feel awful. makes me think that there were so many people that arent living now because of it. and all of the people who are still living, but will never forget the awful things that happened. we havent finished the movie yet, but leaving class today, i couldnt feel anything, it made me feel so depressed. i really didnt understand though how my friends could just go right on laughing. or how they could talk during the movie. it was difficult for me to feel anything but sadness after watching it. i also didnt understand when a teacher told us to take notes on anger, sadness, and hope. i felt the anger and the sadness, but i didnt feel like hope was anywhere to be found. anyways, it is a very distressing and depressing movie. i still would like to finish it though.
sorry no picture today. my dad just switched computers or something so i dont know where all my pictures are, but i will figure it out later.
also today i have soccer tryouts. i am getting very nervous. i always do.
today is the start of the weekend though, and i have no homework! and now we are doing trig in math, which is easy (so far ahah) and i finished all in class! i will try to enjoy the nice weather this weekend, today i sat out in my backyard, very pleasant.

right now i have lucy in the sky with diamonds stuck in my head. its starting to get annoying. we are playing this beatles piece in band, but i dont like the arrangement at all really. or maybe its just my part.

i havent posted in a while, but that is because the computer keeps going slow and messing stuff up, so sorry 'bout that.

today i went for a run around my neighborhood. i dont really go for runs very often, even though i should. but the end of this week is when soccer tryouts are, and im getting nervous. hence the need to go for a run. oh and when i was out running, i saw a black tulip. pretty cool, yes? no picture though sadly. maybe i will go back later.

have you seen the movie gattaca? we had to watch it in science (all you emery people know) its a really interesting movie. jude law is in it, haha. anyways i wouldnt say go out to blockbuster and get it, but i just think its interesting. they discriminate people on their makeup and their genes. enough about that.

okay and english we have to read the book Lord of the Flies. i dont like it at all, i hate it actually. its such a weird book. rather disturbing.

i am going to try to not be so down on myself and upset so much though. well what was so bad? you ask. well i dont know, its just frustrating. all my friends are so smart with their straight a's, and i have to try so hard just for a b plus. and this is silly i know, but its hard on me. so im done with that. i will go take pictures whenever i am upset now. i love to take pictures. today, my sandwich wasnt even squished, which is amazing. and it was peanut butter and jelly, which is always squished.

and, so i have been listening to the killers for a whole month like nonstop, but today i just put my ipod on shuffle and listened to everything.

oh and do you like my hat? well actually its not really mine, but i have annexed it. it might have been my grandpa's but im not sure. its funny, but i havent worn it out in public yet. oh and the pearls? those arent mine either, but i am thinking about stealing them (from my mom)

oh and today it rained, so i got to use my yellow umbrella, which match my yellow shoes.

i feel much better now, and i thank david for that. today i even finished my math homework in class, so i have nothing to do tonight. so i think i might read one of my favorite books. its called Born Confused by Tanuja Desai Hidier. you should read it.

today was not the greatest day, but not for any specific reason. it was just an all around not good day. tomorrow will be better. (hopefully)

its a dandelion! my friend pointed out to me just a little while ago how odd it is that the yellow flower and the white puff ball things, are both called dandelions. but i just like to blow dandelions, haha.

you know the kooks? i love his voice. ahhh...or just about any guy with a british accent, for that matter. the sofa song is a good song, but my favorite is shine on.

i have a spanish test tomorrow, and i actually need to study for this one. ayer comi unas fresas. there is supposed to be an accent on the i but thats okay. now you can try and figure out what it means!

so last night i got home late because i was at a friends house. it was quite fun, we played ping pong for a really long time, even though I'm terrible at it. anyways, when i got home everyone was asleep. you know how the house feels all quiet, and its dark and you are the only one awake? i like that. i try to walk all quietly, as if i would disturb something if i stomped around.

oh and the pictures are from the other day, when i went to the park with my friend charlotte. we had fun with our shadows, haha. and the really shiny thing? its a really long slide, and its pretty fun, although it gets rather hot.

i had a pretty good weekend, it felt like a really long weekend. but i didn't get much homework done, so I'm off to go finish now!

okay, so all of you who haven't seen nick and norahs infinite playlist, you need to go see it. ah i love that movie. okay so actually, guys probably wouldn't like it so much, but that's okay you can still watch it, haha. i was totally obsessed with this movie back in like november, and i was just reminded of how much i love it, after seeing it again. the movie is really good, but the book its based on is much better. i read it for the first time last summer, and loved it. then i went to go see some movie, and there was a preview for nick and norah. i was like 'i just read that book!'. oh and one of the best parts of the movie, is the music, but you could probably figure that from the title, haha. so yeah i have the soundtrack too. okay enough about nick and norah.

so last night i was up late because i was reading. i had to finish that book (The Perks of Being a Wallflower) it was amazing. i am still thinking about it. so all of you? go read it. and this is not a chick book, or a half a brain book. i don't really know how to describe it, but the book, okay i really don't know what to say, except that you should read it.

today was a good day. it was warm and i loved it. i hope you all had good days too, and that you got to enjoy the sun. i took alot of pictures today, but i will put them up later.
