i need direction to perfection

today has been a pretty okay day.
i have spent most of the time that i have been home, outside reading and taking pictures. the book is called The Perks of Being a Wallflower and its by Stephan Chbosky. and i have no idea how to pronounce that guys name. anyway, its a really good book, but i haven't finished it, so don't spoil it for me! oh and the book on top of it in the picture is A Separate Peace, which I'm required to read for english. its funny because they mention it in the wallflower book.
its kinda weird i know, but the picture where I'm holding the book up, reminds me of bibles for some reason. i don't know the picture looks all spiritual, but that's not the reason i took it. it was just after i figured out that the book could prevent the sun from getting in my eyes. it was actually really warm out in my backyard today, not to mention bright. but then i went and got sunglasses.
oh and i just realized that today is the last day of april. this month seems to have gone by really fast. well actually this whole year has gone by pretty fast. i guess its always that when you are in the middle of something, its like time is so slow, but looking back it happened so fast. wow, i guess I'm in a really pensive mood today.
anyways, i think i will go finish this book now, not the one required for english of course, haha. I'll let you know how it is.
